Being in the boating world, our lives revolve around water.

But what would happen if our freshwater supplies disappeared?

That’s OK, you say, our boats are fine in seawater!

But what would you drink?

Sadly, for 1 billion people in the world, this is a very real question. The small amount of water they can access is so unclean, it can give them dysentery from drinking it.

In fact, more people die every year from a lack of clean water and sanitation than from violence and war.

We don’t think this is OK. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the charity Fresh2o to do something about it. Of every Aquacote kit we sell, £10 of it goes directly to fund projects to provide hand-pumps and wells in Madagascar, Uganda, and India.
